Dental CT (3D X-RAY)

Sirona is the only company on the market offering a combination of 3D X-ray and CAD/CAM system for easier and more accurate planning in implantology. The crown or bridge designed in CEREC is transferred to the X-ray software. This information is used in planning the correct implant position. The subsequent production of a surgical template ensures accurate placement of the implant.

  • The X-ray uses two sensors, a 2D sensor with a resolution of 27 µm and a 3D sensor with a resolution of 100 µm, which ensures the highest possible image quality
  • 2D functions offer panoramic images of very high quality, programs with constant magnification, artifact reduction, programs for sinuslifts, joints and programs for bitewings
  • 3D sensor enables sensing of a cylinder volume 8×8 cm
  • 3rd generation flat panel sensor is used for 3D scanning
